A STRUGGLE IN INDIA
BOMBAY, December 13. An exceedingly keen struggle is proceeding between the Moderates and the Extremists for supremacy in the national movements. A stormy conference at Mechutpur resulted in Surendanath Bannerjee being, deposed as the head student of the Nationalist community in favour of Arabinta Ghose, who was lately tried on a chaxg* of sedition. A crowded meeting at Poona endorsed Lajpatri's claims for the Presidency.
