ARRIVAL OF IMMIGRANTS.
WELLINGTON, December 4. The lonic arrived from London to-day with 687 passengers — the largest number brought to New Zealand. Of that numbec about 600 are immigrants, consisting of labourers and tradesmen. There are also 28 domestic servants, who have come ouf under the auspices of the Girls' Friendly Society and Women's Immigration Society
