The total for the week was 2491 and the total to date 58,109. The highest pens for the week are : — Smale (white Leghorns), 38; Leyington (white Leghorns), 34; Horton (white Leghorne), 34; Hawke (white Leghorns), 34. Highest pens to date: — Marlborough Herald (white Leghorns), 798; Laws (white Leghorns), 794; Selcock (white Leghorns), 782; Triechert (white Leghorns), 797; Alice Dodeun (black Or--pingtons), 763; Brown fwhite Leghornel, 769.
CHRISTCHURCH. December 9.
' The following are the results to date in connection with the third egg-laying competition at Lincoln College under the auspices of the Utility Poultry Club. During the week 1030 eggs were laid, making , a total of 30,506 to date. The highest total* for the week were: — W. Wooffen- [ den (silver Wyandottes), 35; F. O'Brien (silver Wyandottes), 34; W. Forrest (black Orpingtons), 32; Mrs W. O. Sail (silver Wyandottes), 31; W. Wooffenden (silver Wyandottes}, 30; T. J. Rossbottom (eilver Wyandottes), 30; L. Pickford (silver Wyandottes), 30. The following are the beet frand totals to date:— Allan Petrie, 840; liss Rita Nixon, 821; W. Forrest, 812; J. Tonpe, 808; W. O. Sail, 800; T. Kennedy, 750; W. Knipht, 749; J. J. Parker, 746; D.
