It was further resohed that Mr Barclay, M H R., be requested to convene a meeting of Otago members immdiatelv after Parhai.ient u.et for the purpose of urging the Government to proceed without delay with th" continuation of the Otago Central tail wpy beyond Clyde. A further motum wa* pa«e<l that the seeretanea of the league* at Bannockbuni. Crcmwell, Hawea Fiat, and Pembroke bo rr quested to urge the repreaentativs of the d.srr.et m Pailiament to sea that no further delay bo permitted in proceeding wuh the sarvev of the line beyond Clyde, which was promised by the Minister of Public Works nhon the line wart formally opened to that point as pubhclv stated by Mr Macpherson, M H.R.
