SIR JOSEPH WARD

PERTH, February 12. Sir J. G. Ward was met at Fremantle t,y the Governor (Sir F. G. D. Bedford) and Admiral Fawkes, who accompanied him to Perth, where the paity was welcomed by Mr Price (Minister of Works) on behalf of the Ministry. The press representatives asked Sir Joseph for a special message to Australia, and he replied "Make Australia white, and keep it white."
