It is made as follows, and can be drunk hot, warm, or cold — Be« cipe : Pour half a pint of boiling water on to a Large teaspoonful of oatmeal, stirring as you do so. Add a pinch of salt, let ;t; t stand by the fire for an hour, giving it a' etir occasionally, then strain. Sugar and a squeeze of lemon or orange juice, or a piece of the peel of either, may be added instead if salt, if preferred.
