A SCOW STRANDED.

AUCKLAND, February 16. The Auckland-owned scow Bravo, bound from Kaipara to Gisborne, ran ashore about 14 miles to the eastward of Cape Maria Van Diemen on Thursday morning. The Bravo left Kaipara on Tuesday last yith a cargp of timber for Poverty Bay ports. The vessel was buffeted about throughout the night, and somewhere about 5 a.m. she was carried ashore by the sea and gale, and was piled on a hard satidy beach. The crew landed safely, but the master (Captain Wilson), who only recently came out of hospital, ia reported to be very ill. The Bravo was a vessel of 44 tons register, and was owned by Messrs A. Tankard Jaggar and another.
