Tbe week'y meeting of the club -was lielcl in the clubroom on Tuesday, February 5, when the chair was taken by -the president, Go Hon. The minutes of the preceding meeting having been read and confirmed, letters were read from (Mountain Rambler and Cornish. The evening was devoted to the reading of humorous contributions, which were so greatly enjoyed that, at the conclusion, all went away wondering why such evenings did not occur more frequently. The members then took part in an impromptu debate on " Would you like to live your life over again?" A. Ned was the sole supporter of the affirmative, while Harry, Go Hon, Scobie, Mud, and Octava, took the negative. A vote being taken, honours rested with the negative. Leaders were tkon chosen for next Tuesday's debate, "Do we profit by learning foreign languages?" Scobie and A Ned were chosen on behalf of the affirmative and negative respectively. SCOBIE, Hon.
