.Pass 2fb cooked spinach through a -wire sieve; make hot quarter of a of thick white sauce, season 'ightly -with pepper and salt; mix the spinach with an equal -quantity of mixed carrot and turnip (well boiled apd isieved). add this to the sauce, with s lump of butter, and stir Arrange the spinach down the middle of a dish, place slices of grilled ham on the top, garnish with hard-boiled 'eggs cut into quarters, and pour a little brown gravy round the dißh. ,' "
