The stock yarded comprised 182 cattle—bullocks, steers, and calves, dairy cows and heifers — and 142 crossbred ewes. (Ltd.) report having held a displenishing sale on bej half of the Tiustees in the estate of the late ! Hon. James Fulton at the property, Ravenscliffe, on Tuesday, 17th inst.. when, owing to the out'.ying farming lands having been disposed of, they submitted a large catalogue of draught and light harness horses, cattle, farm implements, etc., etc. The day proved rather unfavourab'e. there being a thick rain in the early pait of the day, but it gradually cleared off, and was comparatively fair in the afternoon. There was. a large gathering of buyers at the sale — farmers, neighbours, and settlers — from Taieri, Dunedin, and surrounding disdistrict, who bid with consummate spirit throughout the sale.
