Won easily in 2min 28 2-ssec — Hie new world's record Tb<? 880 yds Championship reeult-ed as under: — Kieman 1, Springfield 2, Healy 3. Won by two yards m 11mm 39tec. SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. BRISBANE. December 9. The swimming championship meeting has concluded. Kieran, Campbel*, and Gailey. who were suffering from influenza, were unable to compete in the Mile Race, whiih was won by Springfield (Queensland), with Healey (New South Wales) 2, and Freyburg (New Zealand) 3. Won by 90 yards, Frej--burg being ISO yards behind the second man. Time, 25min 12 2-ssec. The 100 Tards Championship was won by Healy in lrnin 0 3-Ssec. Freyburg was fifth.
