PALLAS, the son of Chain Armour and Nellie, has proved himself to be one of the fastest horses that has ever sported silk in New Zealand, and his performances demonstrate that he possesses the rare combination of speed and staying power. In addition to many other races, Pallas won the D.J.C. Handicap, one mile, in lmin 45 2-ssec, with 8.12; C.J.C. St. Albans Handicap, one anile, in lmin 42sec, with 8.11; W.R.C.
