(From .Our Own Correspondent.) ' ALEXANDRA, September 27. For several days past we have had cold Wind and rain at intervals. The Manuherikia Eiver is in flood, and 1 , is sending a lot of drift into the Molyneux. The dredges down the- gorge have great trouble with the silt, and 'cannot make 'headway. The erection of the elevator on the Alexandra Lead dredge is just about completed. The - manager expects 7 to resume dredging at the end of th-e- week. r , Mf-P."
