The return from the Majestic dredge last week was lOoz of gold for 119 hours' dredging. The dTedgeniasteor reports that on Wednesday he- shifted the dredge over to the Etrtrick sida of the river in order to take up the inside cut, where the good returns were got last sunrniar. Tho ground was about 25ft deep, with from sffe to 6ft of wash. He was still engaged in opening out. Tho return from the Ecvival dredge last ■week was 38oz 7dwt for 133 hours' work. Tlio return irom the Paterson's Freehold Kio. 1 dredge lest week was 24cz lOdwt, and {hat from the No. 2 drodgo l_4oz lOdwt. The master of the Waikaia dredge wires having washed up for a return of 450z 15dwt for 140 hours' work. The secretary of the Hessey's Company reports a return, of 21oz Idwt for 118 hoxus' woik. I The return from the Golden Gate dredge for last week was lOoz 15dwt; with the river steady. The master of the New Fourteen-mile Beach dredge reports a wash-up for 38oz for 64 hours' work. The dredge is now closed down. The return from the Rise and Shine No. 1 dredge last week was 350z Gdwt for 120 hours' work. The No. 2 dredge is to resume work this morning. The return from the Nsvf Monte Christo aredge last we&k was 12oz. The secretary of the Taniwbn Cornpaouy wires a return of Uoz 2dwt for the past week's work.
