(Fkom Ouk Own Coeeespondent.) INVERCARGILL, August 15. Tho Invercargill competitions concluded to-night, when there was another very larga audience. To-morrow nig-ht a grand enterlainmont will bo given, when all the first prizc-winneis will repeat their pieces. Tho musical judge (Mr W. Pagefc Gale) did not criticise ihe individual performances, buf; gave general advice to the performeTS as a result of his obsarvations. The judges in elocution (Messrs Meliaffey and Pearce) also gave out how they arrived at their results, and their amiouncomoni; will no doubt be of great service to future competitors.
