STRANDED DREDGES ON THE COAST.

WESTPORT, June 27. ; More definite information concerning the damage done to di'edging goes to show that the Buller Junction dredge is stranded ' on a beach near Oroawell's paddock. She. appeal's to have sustained little damage so far as is at present known, but will require ' a gaod flood to place her again in the river or will have to bs re-launched.

The Welcome dredge is sunk in a fairly good position, but the extent of damage is not yet available. Tho Fern Flat dredge appears to be hopelesrfy smashed. The Premier, Mokoia, Feddersen's, Rock.lands, and Old Diggings dredges are understood to be intact.
