METEOROLOGICAL.
An eccentric recluse who has just died at Union Town, U.S.A., found his only pleasure in listening to the singing of the negro labourers near his house. He left £50 to be spent in paying a hundred negroes to march in front of his coffin for four miles singing hymns and coon song 3as they went. Another burglary was committed at Inveroargn'll either on Wednesday night or on Thursday morning, the office connected with Messrs J. Johnston and Sons' foundry in Leet street being entered. The only booty obtainable, however, was a few shillings worth of stamps.
