Brown and Mawson showed fine forward play. Forrest, at half Back, played a good game. In obtaining the New Zealanders' first score Bissett shot* at goal. Then (Jhadwick, with a great dribble, passed the half and back and finished by scoring a second goal for New Zealand. The second spell was very even, and as neither side scored the game ended : Sydney ... 3 New Zealand ... 2 The visitors lacked combination, and relied too much on mere kicking and not enough on dribbling and passing.
