OTAGO FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION. A committee meeting of the Otago Football Association was held in its rooms, Moray place, on Monday at 7.30 ; present — Messrs "Ernslie- (in the chair), Braithwaite, Smith, Ashton, Young. Allen, Martin, Soundy, Duncan, Stables, and Irvine. The Referees' Club was received in conference dovising the best means of appointing referees for the various matches each Saturday, and a satisfactory decision was arrived at. The question of the North err* Second s appeal for a- goal not allowed in their match with the Roslyn Second on June 3 was considered. Evidence was given by Mr Wadie, the referee, after which it was decided to uphold the referee's decision. Mr R. Winton wrote reporting "that he ha-d ordered a member of the Northern Second off the field for using bad language.—lt was resolved that as Mr "Winton did not mention the player's name the secretary write to the captain of the Northern Second complaining about some of his team's conduct, and asking him to try and prevent a recurrence of such a thing.
