THE POTATO YIELD.
The following comparative return of the acreage and actual yield of the potato crop for the seasons 1904-5 and 19034, extracted from the New Zealand Gazette of June 6, would appear, on the bare figures, to warrant the rise in price which is taking place. The figures are prefixed with the remark: "The potato crop is affeoted with the Irish potato disease, " which has reduced the yield:— r
