THE WILBERFORCE REEFS. HOKITIKA, June 12.
Baucke and Fiddes, the last of the prospectors on the Wilberforce reefs, returned to town yesterday. They brought with them several rvery fine specimens, which are to be sent for analysis. They declare that the line of reefs %has been traced over three miles from the original prospectors' claim. Stress of weather »nd absence of suitable shelter huts compelled "ilnein to abandon their intention to continue '^prospecting during the winter. No more work «an now be done till about November, after ithe snow has melted. A survey of the Styx jroute to the reefs is being proceeded with. 2t is understood not to present many difficulties.
