SKIN MARKET.
Messrs A. Moritzson and Co. report on their weekly sales of rabbitskins and sheepskins' as follows : —
Rabbitskins. — We held our iisual weekly sale yesterday, and offered <&, large catalogue, which was principally made up of incoming and winter skins. Bidding was spirited for everything under offer, and we had no difficulty in disposing of our catalogue at prices above those ruling at last sales. Winter groys sold up to 17d, and winter blacks up to ;H*d. We quote: Prime winters — selected 37d to 18d, mixed do 16d to 16fd ; early winters, 15d to 16d; incoming do and autumn, 12Jd to 14Jd; summers, from 6d to BM. Horse hair — good 16Jd to 17£ d, mixed, 15Jd to 16id.
Sheepskins.— Wie held our usual weekly sale to-day, and ifEered a large catalogue, which was principally made up of skins from local and country butchers. Prices ruling at today's sales were slightly h'gher than those paid at last week's. Several lines of welldried skins sold from 6s to 6s 9d each. We quote : Extra good crossbreds and halfbreds, 6s 6d to 7s; medium, 5s ffd to 6s 3d; light and short wools, 4s 6d to 5s 6d.
