GORE STOCK SALES. (From Our Own Correspondent.)

GORE, May 9. There was a large attendance at to-day's sale, when about 2500 sheep and 80 head of cattle were offered. The sheep market showed a slight decline, especially in lambs and aged ewes, and cattle were hard to sell, even at very low rates. Fat wethers brought up to 19s 6d ; iat ewes, 12s to 15s 6d ; fat larubs, up to 15s 7d ; twe-tooth forward wethers, from 16s 9d to 18s; two-tooth ewes, 20s to 23s 3d ; four, six, and eiglit-tooth ewes, 15s 6d to 18s ; aged ewes, 10s to 12s 6d; lambs, small, 9s to 10s 6d; good, lh 6d to 14s 3d. Most of the entry changed iiands. holders making up their minds to accept ihe drop in prices. Three-year-old steers hi ought £-i to £5; two-year-old do and heifers, £2 JOs to £3; yearlings and one and a-half year olds, £1 15s to £2 7s 6d.
