— Dear Terror, — On reading the New Zealand Fox Terrier Ohib report in your last i.'sue. re delegates' trophy allotted to Invercargill, J. Philpot being the dissenting party, it was stated in that gentl&man's opinion that the competition was too weak at Invereargill. In opposing the allotment of the trophy to this club I stated that only having "one" member in Invercargill the trophy would be won too ehe-aply. There might be good competition in the class, but this trophy is only open to members of the N.Z.F.T.C. Trusting you will give this publicity, — I am, etc.,
J. Philpot.
17 Broadway Terrace. Wellington. Dear Terror, — A paragraph in your last issue (the 19th) states that Messrs Janson and Clarke purchasers of the noted terrier bitch Alta Melody, reside at Auckland, which is incorrect, as both the above gentlemen reside at Wellington. Kindly correct this in your next issue. — I am, etc.,
William Janson.
[I was aware th-.d the writer of the above was domiciled in Wellington, and allowed the paragraph to appear as taken from an Australian e-xchange, thinking that possibly Mr Clarke was an Auckland fancier. — Tbkeok.]
