CREAM DRESSING FOE SALAD,
Three eggs, six tablespoonfuls of cream, three tablespoonfuls of melted butter, one teaspoonful of salt, one ditto mustard, half ditto black pepper, one teaeupful of -vinegar. Beat all well together, put into a saucepan, and stir over the fire till it thickens like custard. Do not let it boil or it will curdle. Let it cool, then mix with salad.
