INTER-UNIVERSITY TOURNAMENT.
WELLINGTON, April 24
The athletic meeting in connection with the 'Varsity tournament was held on the Basin Reserve to-day. A feature of the meeting was the strong competition between Otago and Canterbury Colleges for the championship. Canterbury had held the honour for three yeais, but to-day had to resign it to Otago. The points scored by the respective teams were: — Otago, 52; Canterbury, 45J; Victoria College, ISA ; Auckland, 7. The championship events resulted as follow: —
