A meeting of the Tokonui Railway League held on Wednesday evening was very largely attended. Mr R. M'Nab, M.H.R., was present, and another visitor was Mr J. Crosby Smith, secretary of the SouthlandRailway League. A resolution was carried strongly in favour of the/Tokonui route for ■the Seaward Bush railway extension, and it was also resolved to invite the Premier to visit the district and address a meeting at •Waimahaka.
