NAPIER, March 9. The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company has received the following cable from London :—": — " There is a fall of Jd in value for second quality lamb and hindquarters of beef. To-day's quotations : Canterbury mutton, 4Jd ; Napier, Wellington, and North Island, 3£d. Lamb : First quality, 6d ; second, ssd. Beef : Hinds, 3 Jd ; fores, 2«d."
