Some are very lough, and preference is frequently given when cockerels or chickens can be offered jilone." Local prices: These are nominal, as Very few are selling. Ducks and ducklings are quoted, from 3s 6d to 4s, and fowls from 2s 6d to 2s 9d; geese, from 4s 6d to ss; turkey bens, 6d to 7d; gobblers, 8d to 9d. Poultry for export : We have an unlimited , Hsrnand and can quote as follows: — Chickens, lib and over (dead weight), 3s 3d; chickens., fejlb to 41b (live weight), 3s; fowls, 3£lb tc *lb" (live weight), 2s 9d; fowls and chickens, from 2£lb to 3£lb, 2s 3d (these were formerly rejected); ducks and ducklings, 41b and over,, Bs 9d| do, 31b to 41b. 3s (these are the birds ♦hat were formerly rejected). All these prices lor export are free of railage, and subject to »ur usual commission.
