THE TAHUNA PARK AUTUMN MEETING.
Encouraged by its reoent success, the Tahuna Park Trotting Olub. -has. made a substantial increase to its- past year's autumn programme, and the^ stakes to be hnng up at the forthcoming gathering show that an additional" -140sovs has been distributed over the various events, which are endowed, in all, with 900sovs. The following are the alterations from last year: — Trial Handicap, increased from £30 to £35 ; Stewards' Pony, increased ifrom £30 to £35 • Tahuna Cup, increased from £80 to £90 (class altered from 5.25 to 5.15); Bracelet,
increased from £30 to 40. High Class Handicap, £100 (class altered from 5.10 to 5.5) ; Dunedin Handicap, increased from £40 to £50 (for horses that have not won in 5.10 with 25sec limit) ; Electric Handicap, increased from £50 to £60 (class from. 2.50 to 2.45) ; Dash Handicap, increased from £50 to £60 (class from 2.45 to 2.40). Second Day.— St. Clair Pony, £25 to £35; Telegraph, £70 to £90 (class from 5.25 to 5.15) ; Bracelet, £30 to £35 ; Telephone, £70 to £100 (class from 5.10 to 5.5): St. Kilda, £35 to £40 (same conditions as Dunedin Handicap) ; Ivanhoe, £45 tc £50 (2.45 class) ; Recovery, £45 to £50 (2.40 class). A special condition is that placed horses on the first day can nominate for higher class on the second day.
