I The principal sherefs .at Fez, fearing French designs, have demanded the rupture of relations with the Republic and the stoppage of the French mission, as well as the dismissal of all European military missions. The Sultan has promised to comply with their demands. PARIS, January 2. The Temps states that the Sultan of Morocco has agreed to accept the French. Consul's help. France explains that the dismissal of the French military mission was solely due to financial matters. The crisis is considered over.
