At the Thames summer meeting the sum of £2791 was put through the totalisator in 10s tickets. Pekepoke (£2 17s) won the Maiden Handicap, Lingard (£1 3s) the Huidles, Putty (£1 ss) the Goldfields Cup, Lady Isabel (£1 18s) the Pony Handicap, Wairaka (£1) the Steeplechase. Rookby (.£24 19s) the Stewrads' Handicap, Nuneroa (£2 17s) the Hack Race, and Hector (£2 Is 6d) the Hauraki Hndicap.
