SALE AT EVANSDALE.
'Messrs Strbnach, Morris, and Co. report having held their usual monthly sale at Evansd»le on Friday, the 16th [December, when, besides the usual cattle sale, they held a special sale of horses. There was a good gathering, of farmers, and buyers from Dunedin, Waikouaiti, and Oamaru were present. For the horses there was spirited competition, and had there been, several more good" draughts they could have found new owners at satisfactory prices. Hacks and spring-cart horses were in good demand, and realised satisfactory prices.
