Mofcto : " Union is strength." Dear Dot, — The usual weelrly meeting of the D.L.F. Literary and) Debating Club was held in. the library of the Witness Office on Tuesday evening, December 13. There were present of the committee the president (Harry, in the chsur), Black Watch, A. Ned, T. D. A., Lenore, Little Lady, Elmo, Areta, Texas Jack, and 33 members. 'Xhe election of the committee resulted in Hubert, Pauline, Tangles, C. C. M., and Troilus being chosen out of 13 candidates. After the election the rules of the club came under discussion, and the discussion was still proceeding when the meeting was adjourned. — Yours truly, THE DUKE'S AMUSEE, Secretary.
