ANTICIPATIONS FOR THE D.J.C. MEETING.
The Dunedin Jockey Club will commence its summer meeting on Boxing Day, and, judging by the acceptances, there is every prospect of some excellent sport being- witnessed by the club's patrons. Since the publication of the handicaps penalties of 101b have been incurred by Handel, Flower o* Clutha, and Lee-Enfield, and the firstnamed has been struck out of the Dunedin Handicap. The final gallops may cause an alteration of the present selections, and a final note will appear in the Times prior to the meeting.
