CHRISTCHURCH, December 16. The second day of the Chxistchurch Racing Club was favoured with fine weather. There was a good attendance. The tolalisator investments amounted to £5462. Results:
Kindergaxten Handicap, of 50sovs. Five furlongs. — Handel 1, Vaido 2, Hilarity 3. Also staited: Czaravna, Ingleneuk, and Buccleugh. Won easily. Time, lmin ssec. Dividend, £5 2s.
Midland Weltex Handicap, of 50sovs. Seven furlongs.— Lee Enfield 1, Elibank 2, Ordnance 3. Also started: Magnificent, Merrymaker, Natalie, and Ronga. Won easily by a length. Time, lmin 30 2-ssec. Dividends, £1 14s and £1.
Tenrpleton Handicap Trot, of 45sovs. One mile and a-half. — Belroy 1, General Mac 2, Sunol 3. Thirteen started. Won by a length, half «. length between second and third. Time, 3min 43~1-ssec. Dividends, £3 14s and' £1 18s. Anniversary Handicap, of 150sovs. One mile and a-quarter. — Stepdancer 1, .Antigone 2, Ability 3. Also started: Secret Society, Terrapin, Sandy, De la Rey, and Shellfire. Won easily. Time, 2min 10 4-ssec. Divittends, £2 and £6 2s.
Hack Handicap, of 35sovs. One mile and a distance. — Wet Blanket 1, Calotype 2, Conal 3. Also started: Bayonet, First Shot, Brookside, and Taxpayer. Won in a canter. Time, 2min ssec. Dividends, £1 8s and £2 Bs.
