The Free Church has seized the Lewis Church. December 1. The United Presbyterian Church at Kilmuir and the mission premises at Staffa, both in the Isle of Skye, have been forcibly seized by the Free Church authorities. In accepting the appointment of a Royal Commission, the Free Church suggest* limiting the scope of its powers.
