s The annual meeting of the above club was keld last week, Mr S. Cameron presiding,
The following office-bearers were appointed for the ensuing year: — President, Mr W. S. Laidlaw; vice-presidents, Messrs S. Cameron and T. P. Beck; judge, Mr D. Bringans; starter, Mr J. Wr Perriam; clerk of course," Mr J. Nieper; clerk of totalisator, Mr W. Noble; clerk of scales, Mr C. M'lntosli; timekeeper, Mr G. Rivers; handjeapper, Mr J. Paget; auditor, Mr L. B. Grimstone. Drs Gregg and Hyde were elected honorary surgeons. Messrs Laddlaw, Cameron, Bringans, Noble, and Beck were elected a Protest Committee. It was resolved that the annual race meeting be held on Friday, December 16, and that £275 be given in stakes. The president, and Messrs Ryan, Paget, Cameron, Rivers, and Bringans were appointed a Programme Committee. It was resolved that tenders be called for the advertising and printing. Messrs Roberts and Co.'s offer to work the totalisator was accepted. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the secretary (Mr L. Ryan) for the capable and efficient manner in which he had ddscharged > his duties during the year. j The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair. J
