CLINTON STOCK SALE.

The National Mortgage and Agency Company (Limited) leport having held their usuil fortnightly sale at Clinton on ThuiPday last, the 13th inst., when there was a /air yarding of sheep, principally crossbred hoggets and wethers of good quality. There was a laTge attendance, including a number of buyers from a distance. Competition wa? keen, and satisfactory pnce3 were realised. Our sales comprised the following:— For Mr D. Wallace (Clinton), 70 forward wethers at 18s 7d, 37 hoggets at 14s 4d; Mr D. Williamsoj, 191 wethers at 16s, 52 ewes at 12s 7d; Mr A. J. Hall, 211 hoggets at 14s; Mr G. B. Watt, hoggets at 14« Id; Mr Thomas Bagrie, 120 hoggets at 12s 9d ; Mr M. Masterlon, 100 hoggets at 13s Sd; Mr H. Steel, 140 wethers at 18s 3d, 30 do at 15s.
