GREYMOUTH, July 1. Reports to-night indicate increased yields from the Nelson Creek, No Town, and North Beach dredgM. The latter is on a good lead, and a considerable improvement is expected. Tho Callaghan'B Crack dredge got 20oz for 120 hours, tho decrease being explained by the j fact that a good deal of fiH was deposited in ' ihe face during tho recent floods. I The Maori King dredge obtained 15oz. j July 5. Last week saw an improvement in the share fuazket, and an inclination on th« part of Coast peopJe to invest. Tho North Beach dredgo is working on a defined run of gold, tho ground being fairly free from timber. She got 61oz 19dwt for four pays' work. The ground has every appearance of being solid ahead for some considerable d&tonoe, and good returns are expected for Mine time, but as tha lead does not extend across tho whole breadth of the cut, the machine in working o^er will strike some, poorer ground. This dredge has had 12 months' run, and, being in need of repairs, will be laid up for about 10 days■fothing is being done io tho Victory dredge. The machinery is in bad condition.
