WANGANUI SHOW.
"WANGANDT, Norember 19. The Wanganui Agricultural Society's annual show opened to-day, when there was a good attendance. In horses, ponios, hacks, and draught* were very good, but thoroughbreds were not bo good. As usual, dairy cows were the strongest class in cattle. There was marked improvement in sheep. Figs were not well represented. The weather was threatening in the morning, but cleared up afterwards. In shorthorn bulls, Clarence Duke and Imperial Yeoman, from the Lovin Btate farm, were subjects of considerable comment, and oompared snore than favourably with other atock entered for competition. Mr W. H. Wybourne secured first and champion Lincoln ram And ewe from stock bred by Mr William Wilson. Messrs John Jarvis and E. White were the principal exhibitors of pigs.
