Moritzson and Co., Tyne street, report for week ending November 26: — Wheat.—Th»~ enquiry mentioned in out last still continues strong, and thp demand for prime samples at present is in excess of the supply. We quote prime velvet 4s 5d to 4s 6d, prime Tuscan and red chaff 4s 3d to 4s 4d, good whole fowls' wheat 3s 5d to 3s 6d. Oats.—The market still remains firm for these, and all bright lines are readily placed at late rates. We quote prime milling (vers* scarce) 2s 6£d to 2s 7sd. prime bright Danish 2s 4d to 2s 4£d. slightly off-colour Danish. 2s 2d to 2s 3d, medium Is lOd to 2a Id. Potatoes.—Owing to stocks having beea worked off the market has improved, but owing to the lateness of tin season only a. hand-to-mouth business is doing. We quote prime fresh picked Derwents 80s tj 85s, sacks included. The above quotations are all on truck* aft handy country sidings, sacks extra, except where otherwise mentioned.
