Messrs Nitnmo and Blair report a-s follows: 1 Wheat.—Prime velvet is almost unprocur> able, and any offering commands a high price. I Fowl wheat is also offering very sparingly, and ■ prices have advanced accordingly. We quote" Prime velvet. 4<* 7d to 4s 9d ; Tuscan, 4s 3d to 4s 5d ; fowl wheat (whole). 5a 9d to 4s Id; broken, 3s> 5d to 3s 8d per bushel (sacks extra). i Oats.—Market unchanged. We quote: Prime < milling, 2s 7id to 2s 9d ; good feed. 2s 6Ad to 2s 7d ; inferior and medium, 2s 2d to 2s Gd per bushel (sacks ertra). Chaff.—Prime quality is still in strong demand. We quote: Prime oaten, £i 15s tc £5 2s 6d per ton (sacks extra). Potatoes.—At the present time the market is very bare, and prices have advanced considerably We quote: Prime Derwents, £5 10s per ton (sacks in). DAIRY PRODUCE BEPOItT. Buttei — Salt, 8d to lOd; fresh, cpoking, Gd to 7d per lh. Pigs.—l29lb to 1601b, 5d per lb.
