Maize: New Zealand, 5s 3d to 5s 8d; Argentine—2s-ton lots 4s 8d to 4s 9d, load lots 4s lOd to ss. Barley: Cape, 4s 3d. Bran, Is Bd. Pollard, Is lid. Peas: Prussian blue, 9s 6d. Potatoes: Tasmanian, £8 15s to £9; New Zealand Derwents, market bare. Onions: Victorian, £6 to £6 10s ; other sorts, £4. Butter, lid. Cheese : New Zealand prime, B^d to 9id. Bacon, lljd to Is Id.
