NEW ELECTRIC EXTENDED GOLD DREDGING COMPANY.

An extraordinary geueral meeting of shareholders in -the New Electiic Extended Gold Dredging Company was held on Friday for the purpose of considering the advisability of voluntary liquidation. There were eight shareboikders present, and Mr A. James occupied the chair.

The Chairman, after briefly explaining what had been done by the directors, moved the following resolution •— " That the company be wound up vohmtanly under the provisions of 1 The Companies Act, 1882,' and its amendments, and that a liqividatoi or liquidators be appointed for the purpose of such winding up." The motion was seconded by Mr 'Williams, and carried.

Acting on the suggestion of the chairman, it was decided, on the motion of Mr Williams, seconded by Mr North, that the directors be appointed liquidators. Another meeting will he called m due comae to confirm the above lesolulion

SALE OF THE GOLDEN GLEN DREDGE. Tho Golden Glen dredge and claim were offered for sale by auction by Messrs Rtevvvright Bros, and Co. at their rooms on Friday. There was only a small attendance, and no competition at all. Only one offer was received, and Mr A. Bathgate, as agent, secured the property at £500.
