SMALLPOX ON THE WAKANUI.

HOBART, August 21. The Wakanui, from the Cape, has two men aboard convalescent from smallpox. The local authorities ;efused to allow the 33 Australian soldiers to land, so they proceeded to Auckland with the New Zealand contingents. The steamer ■-siiled for Auckland at 11 o'clock lasst night.
