Chess in Fiji.
The following letter from Fiji to hand per last mail explains itself: — "To the Chess Editor. "Sir, — I take the liberty of addressing you on behalf of the Levuka Chess Club, with a view of soliciting any information you may find it convenient to give with regard to chess clubs generally, their bylaws, rules, etc. "Out club is very newly formed, and we are taking a considerable amount of trouble to establish it on durable lines. "Thanking you in anticipation.— l am, etc., *» "A. J, W. Armstrong, Hon. Secretary. "Levuka, July 29, 1902." [Wo shall, of course, accede with pleasure to Mr Armstrong's request, and take this opportunity of wishing the Levuka. Chess Club long life and prosperity. — Chess Ed. 3
