In the poultry yards are peen fine healthy broods of chickens, and eggs are not now a luxury, as they were a week ago. Tennis.— A suitable site has been purchased for the tennis ground, and we hope to see the building of the courts soon in active progress, and tennis in full swing by November. Ping-Pong.— The ping-pong mania has reached a crisis here, and in consequence a tournament has been arranged for Tuesday, sth hist. Much interest is boing taken in the matter, and from 16 to 20 entiies are calculated on.
