Rabbitskins. — At Monday's sale, although: there was a full attendance of buyers, most of whom were operating freely, prices were most; irregular, and a fall of Sd to Id per lb has to be recorded. Best winters sold up to 16d per lb.

Sheepskins — Moderate ca'alogues were sub» mitted on Tuesday. There was a large attendance of buyers, and bidding was most spirited. Fine-wool led skins in shipping condition mcli ( a particularly good sale. Dry meriros sold at 5d to 6id per lb; dry halfbreds, at 4d to sd;i dry crossbreds, at 3Jd to 3Jd ; green crossbreds, at 2s 6d to 3s lOd each ; grean lambs, at 2s 4d' to 2s 8d esch.

Hides. — The usual foitnightly sales v/ere held on Fridsy last. There was a large attendance of buyeis. and competition for all classes of hides was very spirited, as high at 6Jd per lb being paid for extra stout heavy ox, and 4jd for best cow. Quotations. Extra heavy stout ox, 5Jd to 6|d per lb ; medium to good, 4Jd to 5d ;• light, 3id to 4d ; best cow. 4Jd to 4Jd ; medium, 3Jd to 4d ; light, 3d to 3id ; damaged hides, 2Jd to 3d ; bull, lid to 2id.

Tallow and Fat —There is a ready sale for all descriptions at la!? quotations.

Grain. — Oata • The market continues to bo inactive, and little business is passing. There has been rather lucre inquiry within the past few days, which wo hope will lead to business. Meanwhile -ales of anything like large Ime3 cannot be • ffectcd, and quotations are therefore nominal. Quotations: Prime miliiog, 2s 6d to 2s 7?d pci bushel; good to best feed, 2s 4Jd to 2s sid; *: ferior and medium, 2s to 2a 4d '(sacks extra). Wheat: Prime milling linea have found buyers on a par with late quotations, but millers' immediate requirements being filled, the maiket is somewhat quiet. Medium quality is for the most part neglected, and only saleable as fowl wheat. The latter is offering more- p' ■ ltifully, s?ud late quotations for it are baieiy maintained. Quotations:) Prime milling, :>, lOd to 4s 3d per bushel;; medium, 3s 3d to 3s 9d ; best whole fowl whea/t, 3s Id to 3s 2d : medium, 2s lOd to 3s ; broken and damaged, 2s 6d to 2s 9d (sacks extra). Barley. The ma ket is dull, late values remaining nominally u> changed.

Potatoes: Co? ignments have not been comirg forward so i'r-;ely, but those arriving, together with, loca' stocks, arc quite sufficient to supply the sma' demand. Ihere is good inquiry for forward delivery, but so far no definite business has trr. 3pired. Quotations: Prime Dovwents, JE3 7s 6d to £3 123 6d per ton; medium, .63 to £3 5s (sacks in).

Chnff. — Heavy supplies of medium quality, have b~en put en the market, and sales for this class pre slow, at a reduction of about 10a rjer ton on late values. Prime quality is not offering freely, and cowiar-ds ready sale at pricea which show little? reduction. Quotations: Prime oaten sheaf, £1 5s to £ 4 12s 6d per ton ; good, £3 15s to £i, inferior and medium, £2 10a to £3 10s (sacks extra).

Turnips. — Steady supplies are commg forward, and prices are practically unchanged, best swedes sslling at 13s to 13s 6d per ton (loose, ex tiuck).
