LONDON, July 20.

The King sat up in a chair yesterday, and made a short cruise to-day. A council will be held aboard to-morrow. It is expected that the recent changes in the Ministry will be then settled. July 26. The King steamed round the Isle of \Vight. The King handed the King's Hospital Fund a donation of £10,000 given by R» Lucas Tooth.

The King presided at a meeting of tha Privy Council, and signed the Coronation bank holiday proclamations. The proposed Cabinet changes were not submitted.

Lord Lister, speaking at a banquet at» the Athenceum, said that no indiscretion had been commuted in fixing the Coronation for the 9th.

July 28. The Standard states that the King has uot yet got upon his feet, nor has^ the wouud healed, and though the prospects of his ability to undergo the Coronation on the 9th are improved, ho can only be expected to do s>o as an invalid.
